Hi folks

In parallel with the paper presentations at CVE'98 we are planning to have a few
discussion sessions on topics relevant to CVEs.

IF you know of a topic that you feel is worth a 1-2 hours discussion slot then
plase send mail to cve98@cs.nott.ac.uk with your suggestion. Also please say if
you are attending CVE'98 and would be willing to chair the session

Don't forget the deadline for reduced rate registration at CVE'98 is 13th April
see http://www.crg.cs.nott.ac.uk/events/CVE98/cfa.html for details and the
registration form. Remember attendance at the conference is limited to 100
places, so register soon to be sure of a place!

For general CVE'98 information see http://www.crg.cs.nott.ac.uk/events/CVE98/
Included in the registration costs for CVE'98 is attendance at the Manchester
50th birthday event on 17th June. This celebrates the 50th anniversary of the
creation of the first stored program digital computer at Manchester and will
include the live switch on of a replica of the "baby", the first stored program
digital computer.

Also, the deadline to submit a paper or abstract to the workshop System Aspects
of Sharing a Virtual Reality is 3rd April (This Friday!). This workshop will
take place on 17th June at the same venue as CVE'98, the day before CVE'98 paper
presentations.

Attendance at the workshop is strictly limited to 50 places, so make sure you
register soon if you want to attend.

cheers
Dave
