Remember that post last week about people's goals and ideals for CVEs?
Well, except for Dave I haven't heard anything, and I don't _think_
my mail is down.
Does this mean no-one has ANY goals? Is noone developing ANYTHING?

This is serious request for reflection. My hope is that we'll be able=20
to demonstrate that there cannot be any single answer, and then we
can fight off the administrators who want VR/VE to always mean the
same thing ;-)

I am a marketing pro involved with the communications/new media =
industry. I am quite interested in the work that individuals and groups =
are doing in the development of VR/CVE. I am most interested in =
practical applications development, and I would like to hear more about =
what the innovators are up to. =20
I have always imagined a world where the great ( and not so great) minds =
could come together and share their ideas, discuss new ideas, and share =
research findings. This, I believe, is the beauty of the Internet and =
the advancement of CVE's. =20
This discussion group seems to be the ideal medium for the discussion of =
these theories and ideas, the experimentation with the design and =
implementation of the ideas, and the planning, execution and =
distribution of these applications for others to use.
I urge those of you that are involved in various aspects of R&D to open =
your minds and hearts to this venture. I would especially like to see =
scheduled a discussion of where we are and where we are headed in the =
development of these most important environments. Time frames and needs =
should be also addressed. =20
