- Avatar Farm
- Our latest Inhabited Television event, an interactive story distributed over 4 virtual worlds and played out by actors and public participants, was performed and streamed live over the web during the weekend of June 17-18, 2000. See this page for screenshots, photos, and video of the performance.
- Desert Rain
- A pioneering art installation, combining elements of artistic performance, mixed reality boundaries and novel interface technologies. Performed in Nottingham as part of the Now '99 festival on October 18-22, 1999, plus subsequent dates in Britain and elsewhere in Europe.
- Out of This World at ISEA98
- An experiment in Inhabited Television, combining elements of collaborative virtual environments and broadcast TV. This was a virtual reality game-show, with participating players and audience, hosted as part of the International Symposium of Electronic Arts, at the Green Room in Manchester, 5-6th September, 1998.
- Collaborative Virtual Environments 1998 (CVE'98)
- Following on from the highly successful CVE'96, CVE'98 aimed to present the current state of the art in Collaborative Virtual Environments and foster inter-disciplinary links between researchers in this field. The conference was held at the University of Manchester, UK, 17-19th June 1998. The forthcoming conference CVE2000 has gained ACM sponsorship, and takes place in San Francisco on Sept 10-12 2000. - Midlands VR SIG Meeting
- Revival of the Midlands VR Special Interest Group. A theme meeting "Art & VR", hosted by the AIMS Research Group, with Richard Brown speaking about Alembic, and Chris Greenhalgh speaking about the NOW'96 Poetry event. The meeting was followed by a dinner and a visit to the Digital Clubbing event. The meeting was held on Friday, November 7th, 1997, from 14:00-till late.
- Collaborative Virtual Environments in Higher Education
- A one-day workshop on Collaborative Virtual Environments in Higher Education held at the University of Nottingham on Friday, May 30th, 1997. The Inhabiting the Web project was presented and discussed, and the new Building a Virtual Campus project described.
- NOWninety6 MASSIVE event
- A virtual poetry performance, part of the NOWninety6 event, held at the Broadway Media Centre, Nottingham on the 10th November, 1996.
- Collaborative Virtual Environments 1996 (CVE'96)
- A workshop aiming to present the current state of the art in Collaborative Virtual Environments and foster inter-disciplinary links between researchers in the field. The workshop was held at the University of Nottingham, UK, 19-20th September 1996.
- The HCI'93 Virtual Reality Exhibition
- The HCI'93 VR Exhibition was one of a number of Virtual Reality events which took place at HCI'93. It ran throughout the conference in the James France Building, Loughborough, UK, 8-10th September 1993.
